MEET THE TEAM

Our Trustees

As a registered Charity, Rural Missions is run by a group of Trustees, from various Christian traditions, all of whom have a passion for rural mission and church growth.

  • With many years experience as a Church Army Officer working in three Anglican dioceses in England, Gordon has a deep understanding of rural church and community life. Gordon is our chairman and has a passion for evangelism as part of a balanced commitment to mission.

  • Alice was raised in a church with very few people, which has given her a heart for reaching small communities and sharing the love of Jesus, to make a big impact! She currently works for a domestic abuse project supporting women and children and has a passion for loving as Jesus does and bringing light to very dark situations. Isaiah 1:17 'Learn to do good, seek justice and help the oppressed'

  • Jim is a retired Baptist minister now living in Towcester. He has a heart for rural mission. A few years ago, he used a sabbatical to undertake research into partnership between rural and urban churches.

  • Elaine is a retired Divisional General Manager of an NHS Trust, and chair of trustees for Ashwood Church, which she and her husband Dennis attend.
