Journeys and Journeying Together

Over the last few weeks, I’ve had the privilege of travelling to parts of the UK I’ve never visited before as part of my work with Rural Missions.

I love travelling and meeting new people, and there’s something so energising about hearing people’s stories. On these trips, I’m reminded of how often I get the chance to share, chat, and pray with other Christians, to hear about their churches, and to share the heart and passion for God’s mission. It’s a joy that never gets old.

What strikes me most is the sense of community that forms in these places and the way people encourage and champion one another.

I wonder… when was the last time you shared your heart for God’s mission?

I wonder… what are you asking God for in this season?

I wonder… who are you joining with, or coming alongside?

Last week, in our staff gathering, we looked at the moment in Exodus when Aaron and Hur came alongside Moses to support him when he grew tired. It’s a powerful reminder that mission is not something we do alone.

Here at Rural Missions, we want to come alongside you and your mission. We’d love to connect you to the journey, the joy, and the incredible blessing of doing mission together.
