About the Role

Although each role serves a different region/Nation, the purpose is the same.

As a Mission Enabler, you will:

• Work alongside rural churches to understand their communities.
• Facilitate our tailor-made consultation process.
• Help churches develop realistic, achievable mission plans.
• Build long-term relationships with church leaders.
• Encourage churches to engage with Rural Missions training, resources and networks.
• Share stories of impact and transformation.
• Represent Rural Missions at conferences, events and gatherings.
• These roles come with significant travel, with evening and weekend working.

✔ Enjoys building relationships with people.

✔ Is organised and able to manage projects independently.

✔ Communicates confidently with church leaders and volunteers.

✔ Is happy travelling within their region.

Experience of mission, church leadership, community engagement or strategic planning would be an advantage, but above all, we're looking for someone who shares our vision and values.

Occupational Requirement

These roles have a Genuine Occupational Requirement under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010 for the postholder to be a practising Christian.

Applicants should be committed to the Christian faith and actively involved in the life of a local church, as the role includes representing Rural Missions and contributing to our Christian ministry.
 

Safeguarding

Rural Missions is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults at risk. Successful applicants will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS check and comply with our safeguarding policies and procedures.
